I didn’t recognzie myself at first. Horns, large and brown and full of ridges, replaced my usual long locks of hair. My eyes no longer looked human but instead glowed a bright yellow. There was an intensity behind them that shifted, a glow that dimmed and brightened as my body worked through the hurls of emotion that crashed through my being like an unrelenting wave.
